Card of the Day - Saturday, October 6, 2007

Today's card of the day is my very favorite of all, The Ace of Cups. The Ace of Cups, is the highest "love card" of the deck and it promises great joy and pleasure today. There has been a lot of talk this week about celebration and empowerment. Today's Ace of Cups would imply that today is a day to place yourself in the most loving positions possible. Today is a day to enjoy to the fullest. It does not matter that there could be work piled up, numerous errands to run, things to do, today is a day that Spirit has blessed as yours to simply enjoy. It is important today, to be around those you love who carry very little drama and need. You may consider doing something very nice for yourself, such as, a nice trip to a spa, or a massage, a manicure or pedicure, something that will make you feel decadent. If you are trying to prod the energies of abundance into existence, then treat yourself opulently. You'll be amazed at what it achieves. A friend recently told me about having been in a position of being strapped for cash. In order to feel opulent, he painted his toe nails a vibrant shimmering gold. Energies moved and money began to flow. Thought is energy. Energy put into action rears action in energy. Love yourself and as many others today as possible.

The Death Card is on the scene for today's card of the day. Be not dismayed by the implications of the title of today's card. The Death Card, for the unknowing, has the worst false reputation of the tarot. Even though, the card is entitled death, the card rarely signifies physical death. Again, falling right into the succession of this week's card's so far, death would signify again that changes in energies are at hand. The Death Card, is calling upon us to allow ourselves to kill off and remove that which is no longer of service. Just as you would prune a plant that has browning leaves, or faded blooms. In order to allow the plant the full ability to utilize its energies in revitalization, we prune it. With the empowerment at hand this week, now would be an excellent time to do a little trimming. That which is frustrating you, can be easily released. You can choose to remain in frustration or be freed from your angst. One of the strongest symbols on the face of The Death Card, is that of the white rose of purity and innocence. This represents to us that the process need not be painful, and leads us to the process of our full blooming. I have noticed a great deal in the recent past, that I have spoken to many of the aspect of purifying their lives through the release of all that no longer serves them. I was even told by my dear friend Ron Bailey that the action he felt led to tell me to take was to simply let go of everything. I did, and energies of change have overtaken me, clearing away obstacles, and illusions. It is not always the easiest approach, and it requires a lot of faith and reminding to just let go, but it is definitely worth the effort. The results are weighing in as positive.

Card of the Day - Thursday, October 4, 2007

Today's card of the day is the Seven of Pentacles. A very significant card to fall in succession with the previous cards this week and the commentary published on October 3rd, 2007 entitled "Loosing Faith".

The Seven of Pentacles the card of blessings that follows hard work. It is the general representation of having come to recognize the fruits of one's labor. The Seven of Pentacles is a sure sign that balance is in the works and will remain or be restored in one's life.

A clear vision is coming to represent just what has been accomplished, and it is imperative that one be as open to receiving one's due. This is not a time to minimize your accomplishments. Breathe in the empowerment of what has been achieved and utilize that power to fortify your next project. Celebrating by being idle is not what is called for here. It is important to utilize your empowerment to keep yourself in flow and in a creative mode. You certainly will appreciate the fact that you did.

This could be a sign of new opportunities, or the change to a venue of great positivity. The Seven of Pentacles carries the message to empower the self. You deserve it!
